DESIGN THINKING WORKSHOP
5-day remote design sprint
The Design Sprint is a 5-day process designed to help teams solve big challenges,
validate new ideas and improve existing products/services very quickly and efficiently.
The original Design Sprint was born at Google Ventures with the purpose of helping
their teams innovate faster and better. Since working remotely, we have adjusted
some of the elements.
The Sprint consists of a set of very specific exercises that help teams get alignment
around a challenge and fosters a collaborative and creative problem-solving setup.
The whole idea of the Sprint is to help us be more creative, propose various
ideas and decide on a solution we want to test with real users, in just a few days.
What is in scope?
- Gathering insights from potential users
- Research of trends and best practices in area of collaboration platforms
- Defining needs and standards for new interactive web collaboration platform
- Teamwork in proposing ideas and solutions aligned with user needs and industry trends
BTS summer workshop 25.09.-2.10.2022.
BTS is a summer workshop that encourages interaction and the exchange of knowledge and experience about the field of
maritime robotics and its applications. In 7 days participants can gain first-hand knowledge about the latest in scientific
research and results, technological achievements, as well as hands-on experience in working with complex and modern underwater systems
GEOmar experts have held a tutorial:
The principle of Multibeam echosounder (MBES) work, technical characteristics and capabilities,
problems arising from work, data processing principles and the final product. Practical Exercise to show
MBES work with the help of a boat for a hydrographic measure (an 8-meter ship that optimally can
accommodate 6 interested participants).
